The Best Western Wroxton House Hotel is privately owned by ‘The Smiths’ and set in the beautiful thatched village of Wroxton. Dating in parts from 1649 this hotel is an idyllic retreat only 4 miles from junction 11 of the M40 and on the edge of the Cotswolds.

Those seeking to relax and discover some historic and fascinating areas of the country won’t be disappointed, whilst our business guests will be delighted by our personal service, attention to detail and tranquil working environment.

Whether a first time guest or regular visitor, all are guaranteed the promise of a warm welcome from a dedicated and professional team.

All 32 rooms are simple, luxurious and welcoming with a choice of traditional in the original part of the house and contemporary in the new wing. You can request a double, king size or twin bedded room.

Each of our rooms has a work area with desk, sitting area with easy chair and coffee table, LCD TV with 80 channels, free wi-fi internet access, refreshment tray, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and complimentary mineral water.

Dining in the Restaurant 1649 with its oak beams and Inglenook Fireplace offers a distinctive contemporary menu in a relaxed atmosphere. A lighter menu is available in the lounge bar, by the log burning stove in the winter or on the terrace on a warm summers day. The bar which is at the heart of the hotel, serves morning coffee with homemade biscuits and traditional afternoon teas. We also have two private dining rooms, the Wroxton Room and the Broughton Room, both bright and airy with their own individual character perfect for celebrating those special occasions.

The kitchen brigade led by Head Chef Steve Mason-Tocker, is fully deserving of the AA rosette awarded in recognition of its excellent food and service. In fact, many of our guests ask for a pot of homemade jam, marmalade or chutney to take home!

Conference facilities include:-
2 dedicated conference rooms for a maximum of 45 delegates both with natural daylight
Free wi-fi internet access throughout the hotel
Professional meeting events planner with well informed advice
Ample free car parking
