The city of Oxford is famous for its punting on the River Isis and Thames with lovley leisurely trips along the river. You can choose to have a guide punt or take the punt for an adventrue yourself along the waterways. There is also the Oxford canal with its start from the City centre all the way through the county of Oxfordshire meandering its way through beautiful countryside to Banbury and then on to the Midlands with hire boat companies all the way along its length.
There are alos various boat companies along the river hiring out cruisers for a trip along the Thames and its beautiful countryside to London.
If you want to travel at a faster pace you can also find water ski or jet ski clubs at the various lakes in the area.
