Out and about in Didcot

Make sure you get out and about in Didcot, there is plenty to see and do and with the new five screen cinema due to open in May 2007 there is something for everyone.

The new Orchard Centre with its easy parking makes Didcot ideal for shopping where there are retailers to include Sainsburys, Woolworths, Next, New Look, Thorntons and many more plus restaurants and coffee shops.

Travel back in time at the Didcot Railway Centre, learn all about the old days of steam and even take ride on one of the steam engines. Come and see operating steam locomotives and even book a lunch for that special occasion aboard a steam train.

Whilst out and about in Didcot you cannot fail to be impressed by the sight of the cooling towers of Didcot Power Station which fills the landscape and on occasion the Power Station holds open days for those wishing to take a closer look at the detailed engineering.

Didcot is ideally located with its mainline railway station providing fast and regular services to London and the southwest and Wales.
